A moment of gratitude...

It's the time of year where we all start to get reflective of the era that was before us and assess the good, the bad, the wins and losses - both in business and personal life. Day-to-day it's easy to get all caught up in the to-do lists and checked boxes- worrying about taxes, ordering products, and scheduling. But for a time -around November- life and work seems to slow just for a moment and I get to contemplate all that was accomplished for me and for Rebel. And it feels so damn good.

We've had hundreds of women book sessions with us!

Feeling nostalgic, I went back and took a quick look at my calendar from just the last couple years and realized the amount of women who came to me for their sessions was just beyond what I could have dreamt of when I first picked up a camera. I also was quick to notice that I kept records of all the brave women who reached out for session info and didn't book with me. No matter the reason (most being investment amount and last minute bookings where I couldn't meet their product deadline in such a short time frame) these women are courageous and inspiring to me.

I've been in the boudoir business so long, have seen it all (truly), have watched women blossom with confidence before my eyes but I also sometimes forget how intimidating it is to come into a session with a literal stranger filled with butterflies and nerves. But just sending that email or submitting a contact form is such a badass thing to do. To put yourself first. To choose to even consider if doing a boudoir photoshoot is something that you would contemplate for yourself- absolutely amazing. And that mindset- even in potential clients is something that keeps me going.

Whether you make that leap now or next year- just know that I am grateful for the opportunity to tell you about Rebel Boudoir. And about all the awesome experiences we've had in our studios both in Atlanta and Kansas City.

I wouldn't be here without each and every woman who trusted me, inquired about me, believed in me, and pushed me creatively. You're the real rockstars of this business.
